But certainly not ideal - it's big, heavy, noisy and makes a hassle of just doing the most simplest of task. I'll keep you guys updated on my situation, but thank you all for your help and your advice.Īgainst my better judgement (and on the advice of the VueScan guy), I wound up going with number 1) Buying the Epson All-in-One and upgrading to Sierra ![]() Upgrade to Sierra and see if I any of these scan apps for Android or Iphone will give me decent quality scans of A3 Documents (I have my doubts on this, but I'll try)Ĥ) Find a way to simply upgrade to OSX 10.10 Yosemetie and keep my scanner. Upgrade to Sierra and gamble some money on an affordable IRIS scan mouse that is also SUPPOSEDLY current with Macs and will let me save some space on my room. Upgrade to Sierra and spend a lot of money purchasing an Epson Workforce All-in-One printer, that is SUPPOSEDLY compatible with current Macs and scans at A3. ![]() The image acquire software works and recognizes the scanner, but no dice on the scanner - software keeps crashing. I also tried to use the scanner on my brother's laptop that runs Sierra. ![]() He really is a cool dude and recommended a few A3 Scanners.but alas he told me flatly that VueScan doesn't support the ScanExpress A3 anymore and that Mustek sucks. I spoke at long with Ed, the guy behind VueScan.
